My name is Marianne (sometimes known as sweetpeeps – or peeps for short) and I am a ‘recovering’ criminal lawyer, EFL teacher, neophyte blogger, petrol-head, amateur photographer, traveller, English woman and shameless arctophile – go ahead, look it up!

I live in southern Spain and love to travel the world with my friend, Edward the Bear! 

In 2009 we had a three month adventure which took us right around the world.  Maybe you followed our adventures on our other blog Around The World in 90 Postcards.  Did you receive a real handwritten postcard from us?

In 2010 we were once again Flying South For The Winter, to spend four months in Australia and New Zealand. 

But this time, we are just going to carry on blogging …. wherever we are!
